Good Morning ladies! I read this and fell in love. Raise your hand if you LOVE Black & White? I think Sepia would also apply! HUGE fan of Sepia! If you're photographing in color you show the color of their clothes - if you use black and white, you will show the color of their soul. ~Author UnknownNothing too deep today, just a really cool quote that I kinda like! Perhaps one of these days we should do a LO challenge using ALL black and white...maybe allow ONE color as an accent or something!

MY hand is up!! I love black and white April!!! I haven't scrapped a whole lot of b&w photos but I do love them. I also like Sepia. I actually just made a page that was all b&w on the weekend.

I LOVE Black & white! I did a LO from photos that I took in a photography class. The layout is extra special to me because it is of my home town where I grew up, and well, I did the LO before i moved back. Also I hand developed the photos, so it's all around special! And I really LOVE that quote!!! Oh and the duplicates of those pics are also all hung in frames around my bathroom which is also black & white. You can do so much with B&W!! I LOVE IT!!!

I haven't done much in black and white, but only because I haven't gotten the chance. I just got Adobe Photoshop 7.0 loaded on my computer, so now I can play around with it some more. I can't wait to get some of these printed and scrapped.

I've always loved that layout, Emily! It's really beautiful. I've never done an all b&w layout but I do a lot of b&w pictures on my layouts. I love b&W photography and now it's so easy to convert a photo from color to b&w so it's a lot more fun to do it.
One thing I've done before is even though I converted the photo to b&w, I put a small (like x 1 1/2 " x 2") copy of the photo in color on the layout to show where the colors for the layout came from because I had used the colors in my grandson's shirt for the layout. I thought that was kind of cool. I actually had an large b&w of him and put the small color one in the corner of the large photo.

WOW! Beautiful layouts ladies!! I LOVE black and white.
I actually had them do some of my wedding photos black and white and then had them spot color one. They did just my bouquet in color. I agreee, though, black and white is soo classy looking!
