This week, I have been working on stuff for a charity auction with my CTMH stuff.... I was going to post it in a new thread, but since you have this one, I'll show what I've been up to this week! ;D

I have been fairly busy too - guess i should break out the camera and upload a few things to share! I finished a LO today that has taken me 3 days to do... and then i started a 2 page one right after that and its half done already...

sometimes, there is just no rhyme or reason to my productivity...
but there is a big reason that i will share in the product review thread for why i got some playtime in today! lol!

*sigh* next thing i gotta tackle is pics of my fireman running his RC car - i swear, he has had me come with him to take pictures like 6 times at this point and I am getting tired of looking at pictures of these things! i figure if i just scrap em and get it over with i wont feel guilty about not doing them anymore...

Michelle - are you telling me your DH is a fireman and he is like a little kid with his RC car? I have to DRAG my DH in late at night (yes a fireman) because he's out there racing up and down the street and the little kids in the neighborhood are in their windows looking out, upset they can't play too!

He and his friends are SOOO addicted, one of them turned the entire backyard into a racetrack! That wife must be STRESSED!

DH tried to race me as I left for work one morning - I tried to run the car over LOL! Instead, my bag ended up upside down in the backseat!

I saw child because ever since he got these RC cars, he's like a little kid! He's trying to get his buddies hooked to so that a few of them will get trucks. I can see it now, raceing them up and down the hallway at headquarters once the chiefs leave for the day... *sigh*...

there is NO WAY in HELL i am letting him build a track in my backyard though! its bad enough he's alientating all the neighbors with these crazy things! lol!

i have driven his truck and his car, and i like the truck... i might actually knuckle under and get a truck, but i told him the only way i will do that is if he fixes it for me because i have no mechanical ability for that kinda stuff.

and i have so many pictures of them jumping over hills! LOL! i swear - theres like 300 pics of the cra and truck in my computer at this point... thats why i have to scrap a few and get it out of the way!

OMG - that is SOOO funny!!!! They ARE like little kids! Dh takes it to work to work on it in the evening - he grounds me from scrap supplies, but just spent an overpayment on taxes/equity and got a NEW car kit to make LOL! Unreal!

Ok, is your man child into fishing too? That's another thing DH and his friends are into - the annual fly fishing trips and then him and his partner fish at least 1x a week for 12+ hours - AHHH!

nope not so much into fishing anymore, but he used to be. He hasnt been but twice since moving here to SC, but he used to go all the time where he used to live. He likes to shoot too and go hunting...

where do you kids live at? we're in Bluffton SC, near Hilton Head Island!

Also my honey wants to know if your DH goes to any of the RC hobby boards online (much like we do with scrapping!) ...
he is on rchobbiesforum.com, and his online ID is "fireme", if DH wants to talk to a brother car fanatic...

We're in Michigan.

I will tell Dh about that forum - I'm sure he'll be on there in no time!! He's working tonight - they do 24 hour shifts, but I KNOW when he calls, he'll be sooo excited LOL!

Dh isn't into hunting or snowmobiling so much anymore - fishing seems to be their relaxation sport. His friend lives on a lake, so after work, they hop on the boat and it's over! The area he lives in has TONS of smaller lakes that all connect, so they lake hop.

But yeah, he will be SOO excited about that forum - we'll be fighting for computer time LOL!

Now hes pestering me to know what kind of car/truck your DH has.. .OMG! is this too much or what!

he has a Traxxas Nitro Rustler, and an Associate MGT ( that's the monster truck)

lord how sad is this that not only are they into it they have us TALKING about it on the SCRAP BOARD!

OOh, he has Nitro - Dh is lamenting he doesn't LOL!

He has Team Losi Triple X BK2 with a brushless 4.5 motor
and
Novak GTB Speed Controller and it does like 45 mpg


LOL, he's getting mad at me - I'm asking him to repeat all of this and spell it LOL!

Now he's saying - mine's not nitro - it would probably do 60 mph lOL!

yep this is sad alright - and we have totally hijacked this thread...

HOWEVER! I did a 2 pg LO on his truck this afternoon, and all that I need to add is the journalling and I will post it here --- if i can figure out how you gals inserted your pics in the text box...

And I used my wishblade for the title - so i guess it's a layout about both our toys, in a way! lol!
