Ok ladies - here is the challenges for the week!
Monday (through Friday): Do not eat 3 hours before bedtime M-F 10 points
Tuesday: Have a cup of salad or soup before lunch and dinner for full points. (5 points)
Wednesday: WEIGH IN DAY! Time to get some incidental exercise in. you must get at least 15 minutes in such as parking farther, taking stairs,etc. (5 pts)
Thursday: Eat lean proteins today and at least 6 servings of fruits and veggies (5 points)
Friday: Get moving! Exercise for at least 30 minutes for full points (5 pts).
Ok ladies, we can do it!!! I posted one for today (Monday) that was do-able since I didn't post this last night! LET'S GET HEALTHY!

I think today's (and all week as it carries through) is the hardest one for me. I LOVE snacking before bed. I remember Oprah saying if you do ONE thing, stop eating three hours before bed. I just don't get it. And what's worse? I take a beverage to bed with me and it's never water! I remember my grandma and grandpa taking a LARGE glass of ice water to bed EVERY NIGHT with a little paper towel under it. That way, they could drink on it all night when they got thirsty. That's what I need to do!
Good for you Liz - that is awesome! That is a GOOD habit to have!

well I can say I completed Monday's with no problems (even after eating out last night) I will continue to follow that one all week -- now today's is soup or salad hhhmmmm I think it's a doable too. .......gotta see what have for soups and if have any lettuce fixin's

Ok, so I got up in the early, early am and ate a breakfast cookie (very healthy) and then dozed until i got up for work. I think I'm safe LOL!
Today's is easy - it's too darn cold NOT to eat soup and I have some YUMMY arugula for a salad tonight! YUM!

oh I get points for y-day on both counts, not eating 3 hrs before bed AND I did the soup and salad thing --- feeling pretty proud of myself

Awesome job Liz!!!!!!!!!!!! I blew the before bed thing, DARN IT! But, I did have soup and salad yesterday with my meals - YUM! I'm going to train myself to NOT eat. Tonight LOST is back on and I'm going to ride my bike as I watch (eve though it's on at 10pm), so I won't eat during it for sure. Then if I can just get back to bed after! I'm going to weigh in right now and I'm going to take the stairs at work all day - no elevator. I'd park further too, but I'd be a popscicle by the time I got in! Hey, partner - RUBY!!! The big dude is blowing his horn! How are you doing? ? Did you weigh in this am?? The rest of you - how are you - how are you doing? Are you surviving?

Well, I didn't eat 3 hours before my bed time..........and I did weigh in this morning. I am down 3.5 pounds from my last weigh in, although it doesn't really count but it is motivating me. I plan on going to the grocery store tonight, I resorted to ordering last night because I didn't have anything to eat. I don't want to do that anymore, so off to get healthy food today. Why can't the fat and excess weight just melt off our bodies? ?

ok ok I was just NOT going to get on the scale y-day--didn't want to ruin a perfectly good Wednesday bu I did do stairs (I have two floors in my home and I KNOW I did 15 mins of up and down minimum) oh a side note -- I redid the salad and soup thing (can I get grace points? LOL)

Tuesday a salad before lunch Thursday I ate my fruits and veggies ~Thats all I successfully accomplished this week - it hasnt been a good week!

LET'S GET HEALTHY! ok my recap -- M-F did it just fine all week T-- accomplished W- no weigh in but repeated the soup/salad and exercise T -- bout 1/2 and 1/2 here F -- no concentrated workout unless up/down stairs and in/out house for two solid hours of running children hither and yon to dances and games
