Emily's Ethnic Recipe Swap
About The Swap:
Ok, a few of us were talking and continuing the idea of making a new recipe book with 8x8 dimensions. Along the lines of the "Hometown" recipe swap, we decided to start with something more broad and do an Ethnic or International recipe swap first. We will continue this swap month by month or maybe even bi-monthly to add more recipes to our books.
Due Date:
This swap will be due by April 30. That will give everyone enough time to finish up on other swaps and challenges before starting these.
Details:
In this swap you will make an 8x8 recipe card with an ethnic or international recipe from anywhere around the world. Since we all love to try new foods, please try to make it something different, possibly something that most of us have never tried. There will be 6 people to a group, each person will make 2 recipes for a total of 12. I'm changing this to 12 per group each person does 1 recipe to get a wider variety. You are more than welcome to sign up for more than one spot and more than one group if you would like an extra album to give as a gift, etc. As the hostess, I will make each person a divider card for this section of your album.
Rules:
1. ALL recipes MUST be backed with a heavy cardstock (Bazzil, DCWV, etc) or even possibly chipboard.
2. PLEASE only turn in your best work, you have more than 3 months to complete these, so be creative!
3. Make sure you embellish AT LEAST 2 times, since these are larger than the normal recipe card, I would suggest lots of embellishments (just because their fun)! ;D
4. HAVE FUN!!!!
Shipping:
Please send either:
1. Stamps (what it took to send +3 extra) with a padded envelope to mail back
-Or-
2. Send money and I will provide the envelope ($4.10, priority mail). *this option gets them back to you faster I would suggest to do it this way*
