What is a Chipboard?
What are ATC?
So far I think that is all. This maybe sad, but I am just now getting in to using eyelets and brads. I am trying to get out of just paper, sticker and pictures for scrapping. Would love to try different things.
I feel kind of dumb for asking..

Hey I was totally in your shoes about 2 years ago!!!
Chipboard = Think cereal box.... it's like cardboard that is good for scrapbooking.
ATC= Artist Trading Card, it's a little card that you decorate according to a theme and trade with others. You can google them, there are some really neat ideas out there!!!

We all have to start somewhere!! Chipboard is one of the hottest and most popular scrapbooking item!!! Its thick durable cardboard that you alter. Alter meaning Painting it, covering it with pattern paper......decorate it like you are decorating a page. You can use anything on it. They come in letters, shapes, they even make little books you can alter and dress up. Let us know if you have any other questions. Ill post a couple of my Layouts that I used chipboard on so you can see what it looks like!

Those are pretty cute. Thanks for the replys. I am going to have to try and make a few different things. I did my first swap with Sandi, wasn't sure how they would turn out. I did the soup swap she had a few months ago.

Melissa, I love your Tummy Time LO!! You really did a great job!! Jenny here is a link that helped me out when I first wondered what ATCs were. It explains about them and shows examples of some trading cards using several techniques. www.cedarseed.com/air/atc.htmlBeware--they become very addicting!!

Neat, I think I got one when I joined the SS on the other forum. I didn't know she made it though. It was very nice.
I am going to have to sit down and try it out.

Jenny, if you want to give ATC's a try... they are 2.5" x 3.5" and just crafy little fun things to do! you can goole them and find all sorts of info on the web about them and books on them too.
I usually describe them like artsy little baseball cards for crafy chicks - but that of course is unfair because guys make them too! they're just super fun, and really good for recharging your creative batteries because they are small. It makes your right brain work a little differently.
