OK here goes---> the very first QOTD
How long have you been scrapping and what/who was it that made you take it up as a hobby??
I have been scrapping for about 3-4 years now, I definately was "SOLD" when a girl at work brought in her scrapbook. I fell in love with it. It was only a couple days later I started my own. My very first album was my wedding album (which is why I am scrapping new wedding pages LOL) Since then I have made many more albums, ATCs, altered items, etc. I have become scrap-obsessed!!

I started scrapping a LONG time ago. Probably a good 8 or 9 years ago. I tagged along with a friend to a creative memories class and had a good time. Then I started buying some items and would actually only scrap a few times a year. In the last couple of years, my scrap stash has grown and I try to scrap or do something each week. I too am scrap-obsessed........or rather obsessed with buying scrap related stuff.

I have always loved putting pretty paper in a book with my photos, but what I did 10 years ago, I wouldn't really call scrapbooking. I would call it gluing photos to a book! LOL A few years ago, my friend and I decided that it would be neat to make our own Christmas cards. At that point, I was dabbling into all different kinds of art because I had just switched my major to art and I was finding mixed media interesting. So i started buying scrapbooking stuff. It started to get expensive but I didn't really pay attention to that. Nor did i know exactly HOW expensive or HOW addicting it would soon get! We had so much fun making our cards that instead of partying on Saturday nights, we would get togehter and make layouts and work on putting together pages for our favorite photos. So here I am, thousands of dolalrs later, still scrapping! Though recently I turned it from a hobby to a fun job. Now I make money selling my creations on ebay and I love it! Good question!

I've been scrapping regularly about 2 years now. I started after my DH and I did everything for our wedding. We did our own invites, decorations, program fans, thank yous, etc. and were hitting the scrapping aisles regularly. It's funny - I found myself using scrapping terms in my yearbook class instead of graphic design terms! I kept saying the dominant pic will cross the crack instead of saying "gutter" LOL!
