Well I bought the Wizard and tried it exactly once and wasn't happy. I put it all in the box with the now "labeled" plates and haven't touched it since. I wish I had waited for one of the electronic ones...thining maybe will get one with tax refund if have any $ left after property taxes/bill catch up etc.... Tax refund? What is that??? I have to pay again!!!!!!

Oww.....so sorry Ruby, maybe next year? In any case I never have much leftover cuz I treat mine like a special tax savings account to cover some of those big yearly bills, so usually its a dinner out, some new clothes for the kids and then we're done

Well everyone, I got a cuttlebug the other day I haven't got to use it yet though cause i have no dies yet. But I can hardly wait! I bought 2 alphabet sets and 2 other sets on ebay yesterday for less than I would've paid for one alphabet set here at Michaels. So as soon as they arrive I will get to play. I was going to go out and pick up just one die, maybe they would be on sale or something, but I never made it out of the house--I have been home for 3 days now, sick with the flu I couldn't believe that on the box it actually says you can use other dies with it. Usually thats something you gotta figure out on your own. Anyway I'm sure I will love it just as much as you all do(maybe even more, since this is my first die cut machine) I can't wait to try it out

You're going to Love it Amanda!!!! If you had no die cut system before, you will wonder how you ever did without! I don't have the cuttlebug, but when I first bought the sizzix I was sooooo excited! Now that I have the Cricut, I really don't know what I ever did without an electronic model! I guess I'm just lazy lol

My DD wants a Cuttlebug for her birthday. We went to AC Moore about a month ago and they were having a demo of it so she got to try it out. The lady had to go do something, so DD ended up showing another customer how to use it! The lady told DD she could have a job demonstrating it! ;D

I really want a wishblade or silhouette but they are very expensive and I'm having my doubts whether I will get it for my Bday or not--We are in the middle of fixing up my scraproom, Dh just ordered a computer for in there and he just had to fix up my van for me. So I figured it don't hurt to start small. (I got it 40% off with my coupon) I'm not used to starting small, but I'm still excited and can't wait to try it out! Even if I do get an electronic cutter, I will still need the manual one anyway...for chipboard and stuff.

I never got a wizard... the LSS i used to teach at had someone come in and demo it, and the lady demo'ing it couldnt even make the dang thing work. I got my cuttlebug a while ago, and I definitely like it! I can use the biggie sizzis dies, sizzlets dies, quikutz dies, and the cuttlebug dies too. Darn good investment. Man, Provocraft is kickin a** between that cuttlebug and the cricut. GOOD TOOLS. They must have someone new working in their product design group. I wont part with my Sizzix, only because its a tank, and I still feel better punching chipboard and heavier stuff in that. but - it doesnt come out as much as it used to, I will say that ;-) michelle

We actually got to meet Stacy, the creator of this wizard. She was at the convention this past weekend. April and I thought that she was going to actually show us the proper way to use the wiz, but actually, what she showed us is what we have been doing all along and it's still been a pain to use. I am starting to wonder how much longer the wiz will be around. She said they put a pattent on their dies, but not the machine. Meaning that's why Provo Craft took it and ran with it and made a far better machine. She even sent them her machine and dies! Now honestly, if I was a smaller company, I WOULD NOT send my machine and dies to a company like Provo Craft. I guess Spellbinders has to come up with something new because right now, all they are really selling is their dies. Cuttlebug kicks the wizards a$$! I don't have a Cuttlebug, I kept my wiz for now because I honestly don't use it enough as it is, but later on down the road, I might invest in the cuttlebug simply because it's easier!

We picked up the Cuttlebug for my DD yesterday. We got it at Michael's, because the regular price was cheaper than AC moore or Joann's, but I used a 50% AC Moore coupon so I got it for $40! I'm going to pick up a few dies and some paper for her to get started. Now I'll be able to borrow it too! If I want to use it longer I could always come up with some lame reason for punishment and take it away from her!
