I am wondering if anyone has purchased the puzzle pieces from Oriental trading?? I noticed it says for $9.99 you get 2 12x12 sheets of puzzle pieces and that the sizes vary...I'm wondering how many large pieces you get. I'm not sure if I need to buy two packs or one. I have checked around at Michaels and LSS and nobody sells them so I have to order online. Ijust dont want to have to order twice if there arent enuf pieces.

Amanda, I was wondering the same thing when I looked at OTC. I tried to find the puzzle pieces at Michaels but mine doesn't carry them.

kathy/amanda -- I only purchased the one set as it said it had a total of 40 pieces, the "smaller" ones didn't look that small so I'm using onlywhat get in the package otherwise will become a very expensive swap -- hmmm now I'm worried that not on the right track.

I was just at the OTC site and in the middle of checking out when I found out that it is going to cost over $15 just for shipping!!! I couldn't believe it! All I had in my order was a stamp some flowers and one sheet of puzzle pieces. My order doubled in cost just for shipping!! I am going to try and find these somewhere in Canada. I have 6 pieces here so I can get started but I need 14 more to make all the ones I signed up for. I will hopefully find some soon! *crossing my fingers*

I'm not sure about oriental trading - I'm going to place my order this weekend. If you got smaller pieces - don't worry about it....work with whatever you have...I'm totally flexible and I'm sure the rest of you are too! I just thought a larger surface would be eaiser to work with....whatever you have....whatever is easiest! Amanda - if you don't see any around you up there, let me know. If we can get them cheaper here and send them to you - that would be cool too! Here is another site that has puzzle pieces - I don't know what pricing looks like and shipping, though. Someone said they ship everything priority... capg.zoovy.com/product/JPL12So, yeah - whatever you have, whatever makes things easier on you...go that route! SMILES!!!

That one seems much better Sarah!! Not only are the pieces cheaper, shipping is only $5. I think I may have come up with another solution tho. We'll see how it works out. I am going to try cutting out some puzzle shapes out of plain chipboard while at work tonight, using the pieces I have as a template. If it don't work out I will order from there for sure

Thanks for the info Sarah about the pieces... the only reason went OTC is that had a list of other things I wanted that were on sale/reduced and so got free shipping.... the ARE pricey though in the shipping arena so don't often purchase from there.

Okay...I must be an idiot! LOL I was in Michael's on Monday and they didn't have the puzzle pieces. I know they didn't have them...I looked everywhere....I really did.... DD and I went in there today and the first thing I saw was ~ yep...the puzzle pieces! I couldn't believe it...oh well, all is okay now because I bought them before they could disappear.

ok all I just got my OT order...the package of puzzle pieces has more than enough to complete this swap... I was also very surprised that a different 12x12 sheet of chipboard swirls that I ordered cam with six (yeah 6) sheets.. I must not have understood the UNIT thing cuz I was expecting 2 sheets with different designes and what was in the package was 2 sheets each of THREE different designs! that came out to about a $1.60 per sheet which is CHEAP... all swirls and brackets and some words as well.... very happy camper here.

So, I stumbled on a set of Rusty Pickle puzzle pieces (the ones Ruby has) by accident and ordered them - they were on clearance. I paid next nothing - around 2 bucks for 54 pieces!!! I went to get the link to alert you all - I bought the last set and they aren't carrying them anymore!!! But, I do have some extras if anyone ends up needing some. I can't wait to start these today!
