ugh, it's freezing down here. crapola.
Okay, gals I tried to post at work but kept timing out or something.
You can make your balls dangling if you want.
As long as your balls aren't exposed you can do whatever you want. No surface of the ball (within minuet reason) should be showing.
Now, where is Liz, this is like a great first swap - we should all do it!

I bought a ball today, I bought a ball today. DH said I should buy the two-pack, but I wanted one to play with first to practice so to speak (boy, this thread sounds DIRTY!)

OK, I'm in cause one can never have too many decorated balls.
Now is there an official size, like 3", 2", etc?

I need to go on an exporatory mission regarding ball sizes. I mean, I know the size i want is the size of a softball but I have no idea how man inches that is. So, when I find out how many inches our balls need to be I'll repost.
You know I'm sitting here with a nuggeteating grin on my face cause this thread just makes me laugh. What a fun swap! I'm going to hang your balls in my scraproom when it's complete!
Sarah, when you're done playing with it can you show me your ball? OMG

We have 7 in this swap. Lets see if we can get one more person to join and then close it. We gotta get moving on this swap! I want to do the 4" balls. You can buy those in sets of two, and you'll obviously need 4 sets. If you guys want we can go smaller, cause I think you can get 2" in a 6pack. What do you guys think? BTW, these will be mailed back in a priority mail box to prevent crushing so postage will be around $5. Do we got anyone else who will join this?

By the way.....I thought it'd be fun to post "things you can decorate your balls with"
Primas (or other) flowers. Feathers! (don't laugh I'm going to do this!) Glitter mirror tiles (yikes!) Paper mache' of some sort acrylic paints (paint something fancy schmancy would ya?) Decopage (good luck with that one though!) beads, large ones would work best... sequins/pins...ohh la la moss from a supply store (for an earthy feel) Alumnium foil (you could but man that'd be ugly!) Seashells (you'll need a LOT!) toothpics with the frilly ends (putting them in so that you make a frilly porcupine looking sphere) although shipping may be tricky!) Asshair (as emily and Amie like to call it) it's actually fibers! Fabric foamie shapes pipe cleaners (can we say 4H camp?LOL) Floral picks/vines Ribbon
what else could you cover it with? Lets get our creative ball juices flowing!!!

I bought a 5" ball and it looked perfect, so I can imagine the 4" is great. I vote for those. Anything smaller would be ball "ettes" LOL!
