The cat must have known that April would take good care of her baby! (I still want to see a picture!)

Yep! The story of Polly is a cute, (kinda sad) one. I worked at a flowershop called pollyannas. My boss was the typical "cat lady" she took care of the cats and people dropped off strays ALL the time. She got the tame ones fixed but the feral ones were too hard to catch etc. Well, one day I came into work and their were some kittens that had been born in a box up REALLY high. The mom abandoned them. I begged my boss for days to get the kittens down but she wasn't sure that the mom had abandoned them. One day we got out the ladder and looked for the kittens. It was a little blonde tabby...I took it home and it died in about 4 hours. I was REALLY freaking sad...my son was too. The next week I went into work and my boss said "Look what we found"...it was another kitten. The mom (another cat) had moved them and apparently my boss and her husband walked in when she was in the middle of it. So the mom ran and left the kitten. She then wouldn't take the kitten back (this one was feral) so I took her in. I named her Polly but tried not to get too attached. She lived! I nursed her with a bottle that first night and was scared she'd die like the other but she lived!!! I have 2 other cats too. Tom & Lucky. Tom was being abused by the neighbor so we confiscated him. Took him to the vet and he had all kinds of ear mites and was somewhat beat up. They'd lock him in the garage (I lived in the desert at the time) and they'd let their dogs play tug of war with him. Lucky was in my engine! I found her the VERY next day after we adopted Tom! So, within 2 months we had 3 kittens! They were all less than a year old! Okay, going to try to find some cute polly pics!

That's so sad about the other kitten. I am a huge softy when it comes to animals. If I had my way I'd have an entire houseful! I'm glad Polly made it. (and Tom and Lucky too!) Here's my Little Bear bowing down to me (yeah right) (click to enlarge)

I don't know how other people do it, but my pictures are stored on photobucket.com, then I paste the code here for the picture.

I have checked out the help file and there is no info there. I checked the little buttons on top of the message and there is a button to enter an image but I can not figure out how to use it.

I think that image button puts image "tags" in the post, and you have to paste the url of your image between the tags. It has to be hosted on a site somewhere for it to show up. All photo sites don't let you link directly though (I know Yahoo is one that won't)

Yes you need an imaging upload host like photobucket. When you upload files there, they give you the codes. But if you have the html link you need to put it in the code like [ /IMG] i think....

What I do is check the pics I want, then go to the bottom of the photobucket page and click "generate image code" or some such thing. Then I can copy the line that gives me a clickable thumbnail.
I started doing thumbnails because I know some people are on dial-up and I don't want to make the page too sluggish.

I have about 11 1/2" of work space. Sometimes I tned to use it all and sometimes I'm better organized and don't. I find my Cricut, Xyron PCS and now my Wishblade are taking up too much space so I need to figure out a better way to make those work without losing so much counter space. I do love my work area though and with the recent addition of 3 cabinets with a drawer in each plus a door with shelving inside has really added to my storage. Then.....my DH found a tall cabinet for the corner to sit the TV on that has 6-7 drawers (i'm not in the room so I can't remember how many drawers. lol!) and he only paid $16 for it because one drawer was broken. He easily repaired it and since the drawer front was there, you'd never know it was broke. It was a $130 cabinet.
I haven't been feeling well enough to get things sorted out in the drawers but I'm hoping they help with my storage situation and get more things off my counter so I have additional work room.

I have an L shaped computer desk with scanner, printer, all that crap, and then opposite of it i have a computer desk just for scrapping. Its deep, and about 4 feet wide, but it never seems big enough. I am saving my money for one of those room organizers - the local clost-maid store sells those California closets, and they also sell office set-ups with cbinets and all that jazz. I don't think i have enough work space, but part of my work space is storage and I am trying to keep everything i need very close at hand, but its not giving me enough space at all. m

We use to have a play room in the basement for our boys, Well I got sick of picking up the toys that were mixed in with the laundry, I now I took over the basement. I have 8 tables set up. 4 are 6 or 8ft long, the 2 are 4ft long and the others are 2 old kitchen tables. I use one 4ft to my self and that at times isn't enough. I have a desk for the Cricut to sit on. My brother made me some paper holders. There was an very old work bench down there, But I took that out for more room. Now I am thinking of taking out these very large cabinets, they hold alot of stuff, but I have nothing in them. If I take them out I would have about 4 ft more room. One good thing about having it in the basement, is to get in our basement you have to go threw the garage, so when I have friends coming over to scrap, I just hang the door open for them, no tracking up the house.
